Brownstown, Indiana-August 1st, 2014: The opening weekend of August features a wide range of competition for pulling fans to enjoy, today August 1st through Sunday August 3rd.

Tonights’ action takes place in three different locations. On the Champions Tour the Effingham County Fair in Altamont, Illinois will host three classes: Light Weight Super Stocks, Protect the Harvest Pro Stock Tractors, and Optima Batteries Super Modified Two Wheel Drive Trucks. The event starts at 6:30pm CDT in the Grandstand arena at the fairgrounds. For more information on the Effingham County Fair log on to www.effinghamcountyfair.com. Just an hour northeast of Altamont in Marshall, Illinois the Ag Protect 1 Mid West Region is competing at the Clark County Fairgrounds. Super Farm and Hot Farm Tractors will be joined in competition by the Scheid Diesel 2.6 Diesel Truck class. Pull time in Marshall is 6pm CDT, info on the fair is located at www.clarkcountyfair.net. The third event of the evening is in south central Missouri at the Gasconade County Fair in Owensville. TS Performance Silver Series classes at the event will be the ARP Super Stock Diesel Trucks and the Air Dog 3.0 Diesel Trucks. The Prairie Brand Western Series presented by Protect the Harvest is also represented, with Scheid Diesel 2.6 Diesel Trucks and Limited Pro Stock Tractors on the docket for the evening. Saturday features only one session of pulling with the Prairie Brand Western Series making its’ Kansas debut at the McLouth Threshing Grounds in McLouth, Kansas. Limited Pro Stock Tractors and Scheid Diesel 2.6 Trucks will be on hand for a fantastic show. More information on this event can be found at www.mclouththreshingbee.com.

The weekend of pulling wraps up with eight classes of Champions Tour action at the Indy Super Pull on Sunday August 3rd. Split over two sessions in front of the massive grandstand of the Indiana State Fairgrounds, E3 Super Modified Tractors, Optima Batteries Super Modified Trucks, iON Camera Unlimited Super Stock Tractors, and Super Farm Tractors headline the first session in Indy. In the second session you’ll find the Protect the Harvest Pro Stocks, Speedco Pro Modified Four Wheel Drive Trucks, MAC Trailer Hot Rod Semis, and Light Weight Super Stock Tractors.
