The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League will once again be featured on major network television this Saturday during the CBS Sports Spectacular at 2 PM Eastern.  The E3 Spark Plug Pro Pulling Nationals presented by GEICO, will feature action from the Elkhart County Fair in Goshen, Indiana showcasing midseason action from the MAC Trailer Unlimited Super Stock Tractors, Air Dog Hot Rod Semis and E3 Spark Plugs Super Modified Tractors.

Tune in to see if MAC Trailer Unlimited Super Stock puller Neil Gettinger can extend his winning streak in “Lessons Learned” after back to back victories in Henry, Illinois and Oak Harbor, Ohio.  While in the Air Dog Hot Rod Semi class, the classic battle of Dana Lindsay’s “Red Hot Rollin” and Mike Laribee’s “Shameless” reaches scorching levels in this mid season contest.  But the two former champs will have to hold off 13 other stellar competitors who want a taste of victory at this storied venue.  But the most intense action will be come in the form of multi –engine monsters in the E3 Spark Plugs Super Modified Tractor class.  Four top performers, including two former champions, vie for the title in this heated match up.  Legendary drivers Bill Leischner (“Dirtslinger”), Joe Eder(“75th Edition”), Scott Tedder(“Mr. Twister”) and the Bunnage brothers(“Takes a Lickin”) take it to the track for braging rights.

But the twist to this contest was brought to the event courtesy of ol’ mother nature.  While the conditions in the Midwest were extremely dry throughout the summer, torrential downpours through the night and part of the day made for a challenging track where all competitors had to throw out all their data from previous years and make adjustments on the fly.  Would it be the wiley veterans or the newcomers on the podium?  Tune in to see all the action with exclusive behind the scenes info.
