Jared and Todd Cox with their Chevy-bodied Boosted Outlaw machine.

Charlestown, Indiana (November 24, 2017) - Continuing a wave of growing popularity, the diesel truck family of pullers never fail to impress on their trek across the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League. Today we honor one of those outstanding teams on their first championship, Jared and Todd Cox with their Chevy-bodied Boosted Outlaw machine. The duo claimed the 2017 Diamond Piston Pro Stock Truck championship, a part of the Ag Protect 1 Silver Series.

It was a title that came down to the last hook in Julian, North Carolina at the Rudy’s Fall Diesel Jam. The team was able to hold off the advances of Brad Ingram in the Scheid Diesel Ram, who fell just three points shy of the championship. Ingram was followed by Rodney Tarr in the Twisted Metal Dodge in third, defending champ Matt Penn in the Penn Farms Dodge in fourth, and the 24-Valve Blackout Dodge of Terry Biggs in fifth.

We salute Todd and Jared on their hard-fought championship run!
