In what was one of the more trying years he has experienced in pulling, the 2012 Pro Pulling League Champions Tour Champion, Mike Laribee made the most of what he had.  As is the case for every puller in the game, the pursuit of power drove Mike to make changes to his already successful "Shameless" Chevy which competes in the Hot Rod Semi division.  The more he and his team members tried to pursue the power, the more it seemed they found problems with parts failures.  Though the problems may have seemed to prevent the truck from running at its highest potential, it was still consistent enough to claim Mike's third championship in the last four years.

Brownstown, Indiana (June 18, 2013) - June 21st and 22nd will be two big dates for the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Champions Tour and Premier Crop Insurance Mid West Region pullers.  Friday evening June 21st is kicked off with Premier Crop Insurance Mid West Region Hot Farm Tractors pulling alongside Champions Tour Protect the Harvest Pro Stock Tractors at the famed Grassy Fork Volunteer Fire Department's pull and fish fry in Tampico, Indiana.  Saturday night June 22nd will see the pulling really heat up with another night at Tampico (Premier Crop Insurance Mid West Region Super Farms and Champions Tour Speedco Pro Mod FWD Trucks) and an action-packed evening of Champions Tour classes at the Darke Co. Fairgrounds in Greenville, Ohio for the Ohio State Championship Pull. Fans will be treated with two tracks of competition in Greenville presented by Premier Crop Insurance.  Classes in Greenville will include E3 Sparkplugs Super Modified Tractors, Ion Camera Unlimited SS Tractors, Protect the Harvest Pro Stock Tractors, and Mac Trailer Hot Rod Semis and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund will again be supported by the event, with close to $50,000 raised in total at past events for the JDRF.  For more information on the Ohio State Championship Pull log on to www.ohiostatepull.com.

Brownstown, Indiana (June 18, 2013) - The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League's Champions Tour and TS Performance Silver Series made a stop at the St. Edward Parish in Mackville, Wisconsin for the Mackville Nationals.  Speedco Pro Mod FWD Trucks from the Champions Tour  joined 3.0 Diesel Trucks and 4.1 LPS Tractors  from the TS Performance Silver Series for two sessions of pulling action.  PPL member-state Badger State Tractor Pullers also fielded Super Farms and Pro Stock classes.

Brownstown, Indiana (May 27, 2013) -  The Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League's event season continues to rev up, this time getting pullers on the track at the Henry County Fairgrounds in New Castle, Kentucky this past Memorial Day weekend.  The promoting group, The New Castle Lions Club, treated fans to two sessions of pulling, with an initial Friday evening of local farm stock tractor and work stock truck pulling that lead into a Saturday evening showdown of two Premier Crop Insurance Mid West Region Classes (2.6 Trucks and Super Farm Tractors) and a 3.0 Truck class that is a part of the TS Performance Silver Series.

May 15, 2013-Brownstown, Indiana:  The 2013 Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League kicks off the pulling season on May 17th and 18th in Franklin, Kentucky with the TS Performance Outlaw Pull Presented by Scheid Diesel at the Franklin-Simpson Park.  All three of the key PPL series are represented in some form at the event, with Champions Tour (SM2WD, 10 Pro, LWSS, and SF), TS Performance Silver Series (SSDT and 3.0 DT), and Mid West Region (2.6 DT) classes in play on the exciting weekend.  has garnered notice for it's' spotlight on up-and-coming diesel pulling classes.   In order to handle the extensive crowd of pullers (upwards of 200) the pull will make use of three tracks instead of the traditional two in years past. The third track will ensure non-stop action for the estimated 10,000 spectators that will witness world-class pulling competition but also have opportunity to see diesel drag racing prior to the pulling sessions at nearby Beech Bend Raceway.  Dozens of vendors will also be on hand displaying their products with Dyno, Show-and-Shine, and a Bikini contest on the 18th as well.
