Pro Pulling League Silver Series Pre-Commit List Announced

Charlestown, IN (April 27th, 2021) – Three outstanding classes headline our coverage today as an elite group of competitors have answered the call for Silver Series competition in the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League. Limited Pro Stock Tractors and Pro Stock Diesel Trucks have been joined in 2021 by the Light Pro Stock Tractor division as Silver Series offerings across the Midwest.

In the Limited Pro Stock Tractor class, a new champion will be crowned as multi-time class champion Justin Wagler and the Real Deere have moved on to Pro Stock Tractor competition on the Champions Tour. Twenty-eight outstanding entries have answered the call to the track with Mike Bousema and the Limited Edition Deere looking to improve on their second-place finish from 2020. Joining once again in the battle is 2020 third-place points competitor Travis Wisel and the Irrational Behavior CaseIH with fourth-place finishers Tom and Nick Gallitz gearing up for a championship run on the Runnin’ in the Red IH. Limited Pro Stocks begin their season at the Southern Illinois Showdown at the Track at Holzhauers in Nashville, Illinois on June 5th.

The race to the top of the Pro Stock Diesel Truck was a close one in 2020 with Matt Penn and the Penn Farms Dodge edging out the Ranch Hand Dodge of Carl Butler for the top via a tiebreaker for most wins/second-place finishes. Their battle continues again in 2021 with the third-place ride returning with a new driver. The Scheid Diesel Dodge, campaigned by Brad Ingram in 2020, will have Brady Ingram going full-time in the seat in 2021. Eleven pre-committed pullers total are scheduled to answer the call at the first hook for Pro Stock Diesel Truck at the Southern Illinois Showdown at the Track at Holzhauers in Nashville, Illinois on June 5th.

The exciting Light Pro Stock Tractor class begins its’ inaugural Silver Series season on May 21st at the GALOT Mule City 300 held at the GALOT Motorsports Park in Benson, North Carolina. The past PPL Light Pro Stock Champion in the Ag Protect 1 Midwest Region, the Bare Necessities Deere campaigned by Mark and JD Wiederhold, leads a group of eighteen exceptional entries in the class that has ten hooks across six states.
