CHARLESTOWN, Indiana (November 21st, 2019) - The ARP Lightweight Super Stock Tractor class has grown considerably in the past few years with a wide variety of pullers from across the country vying for the class points championship. The 2019 champion, Terry Blackbourn and the "Armed and Dangerous - Excessive Force" CaseIH were in winning form on behalf of Mike Chizek and his stable of machines.
Blackbourn's title came on the strength of five wins and four top-five finishes with this machine. Close behind Blackbourn was the Haug family and their "Big Temptation" Case. The title came down to the last hook at the Pro Pulling Nationals in Wheatland, Missouri where the Haugs had the points lead in the season but had some unfortunate breakage leaving them down in the standings for the event and eight points out of the title. The third and fourth place entries were also Blackbourn/Chizek machines, with the "Considered Armed and Dangerous" and "Armed and Dangerous - Deadly Force" machines filling those respective spots.
This is Terry's first ARP LSS title and Chizek's fourth in five years.
Blackbourn and Chizek will be spotlighted this weekend at the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League Champions Banquet at the Marriott-Downtown in Louisville, Kentucky. Congratulations to Terry Blackbourn and Mike Chizek on your ARP Lightweight Super Stock Championship!
