Pro Pulling League Events Move Dates in Response to COVID-19

Spring 2020 has brought our world a significant number of challenges with the COVID-19 pandemic affecting everyone in some respect. The world of truck and tractor pulling has seen several events cancelled due to concerns with the virus and advisement from state and local authorities.

Currently the Champions Tour, Silver Series, and Champion Seed Western Series is set to kick off on June 26th and 27th in Mound City, Missouri for the Rumble by the Refuge. The Watson Diesel Michigan Nationals, also scheduled for June 26th and 27th, is exploring new dates for their event; any changes will be announced through propulling.com and all social media outlets.

Two events have made changes to their dates as of today, May 13th: The 300 Raceway Farley Nationals in Farley, Iowa has moved to August 14th and 15th, and the Southern Illinois Showdown in Nashville, Illinois has moved to September 19th. Both events will feature the same classes they were scheduled to on their initial dates.

“These are some trying and challenging times for all of us,” offered Kristi Asher, PPL Co-Director. “We hope that the 2020 season will still see a number of events occur, all in alignment with state and local agencies. We are working closely with our promoter-partners to offer pullers and fans the best season possible.”

We encourage you to follow us onFacebook,Twitter, andInstagram for schedule changes and updates and at propulling.com. We hope to see you at a Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League event in the near future; in the meantime, stay safe and well!
