Pullers Battle for the Buckle at Hillsboro Charity Pull

Charlestown, IN (August 18th, 2021) – The Hillsboro Charity Pull in Hillsboro, Wisconsin returned this past weekend with three sessions of competition that featured eight elite classes from the Champions Tour, Silver Series, and Badger State Tractor Pullers. Each puller had their sights set on class wins and the coveted Belt Buckle award, given to the best overall finish across two sessions of competition.

Chris Aschliman and the Diggin’ for a Living CaseIH

Representing the Silver Series was the Limited Pro Stock Tractor class in Hillsboro. The class competed in the first session on Friday evening August 13th and on Saturday the 14th in the second session. Chris Aschliman and the Diggin’ for a Living CaseIH covered all the bases, taking both session wins and the Belt Buckle.

Summit Racing Mini Rods competitors

Summit Racing Mini Rods competed in session one and session two and produced a pair of winners. Tim Peissig and his Fallout machine was the winner in session one while Jed Leischner piloted the Bobcat Jr. to the win in session two. Based on a second place finish in session one and a third in session two, Grayson Shelton and the Sawed-Off machine earned Buckle honors for this division.

Josh Blackbourn on the Armed and Dangerous-Deadly Force

ARP Lightweight Super Stock Tractors were out in full force at Hillsboro, competing in the first session and Saturday’s third and final session. Josh Blackbourn’s first place finish on the Armed and Dangerous-Deadly Force in the first session backed up by a fourth-place finish in the second session earned him Buckle honors for the weekend. Colton Whitworth and the NK Bin Buster Deere earned the LWSS win in the third session.

Russ Nichols and the On the Edge Ford

Taking a pair of wins and the Buckle in Optima Batteries Super Modified Two Wheel Drive Trucks was Russ Nichols and the On the Edge Ford entry. The class, limited to Champions Tour pre-commits and Badger State competitors, went to battle in the second and third sessions on Saturday.

ARP Super Stock Diesel Truck was a hotly-contested division with ten tough entries. Shane Kellogg and the Trump RAM ultimately made it a two-truck battle it out with Erik Stacey and the SmokinYA HD Chevrolet. The pair split the top two spots on the weekend and Stacey (in our featured photo) was declared the Buckle winner based on total distance between the two sessions.

Josh Miley High Maintenan$e CaseIH

Josh Miley and the High Maintenan$e CaseIH swept both sessions of AirDog Super Farm Tractor competition in a class of the best twenty five Super Farms in the nation that competed in the first and third sessions.

Brandon Simon Loud and Heavy

The ground-pounding Pro Stocks saw Brandon Simon in championship form for both sessions with two separate machines. In session one Simon would go 1-2 with the Deere machines named Loud and Loaded and Loud and Heavy. Simon would collect the Buckle with a win on the Loud and Heavy machine in the third and final session.

Austin Boyd and the Green Streak

The mighty Big River Steel Super Modified Tractors delivered their brand of power and noise in the first and third sessions. Austin Boyd and the Green Streak Limited was the Buckle winner with a first place in session one and a second in session three.
