CHARLESTOWN, Indiana (January 24, 2020) - Today the Ag Protect 1 Midwest Region spotlight is cast upon the 2019 Light Pro Stock Tractor Champion, Mark Wiederhold and the Bare Necessities John Deere.
The Light Pro class had an expanded number of events for 2019 with seven total hooks for the class. Unfortunately the first two hooks were rained out at the Ohio State Benefit Pull in Fort Recovery, Ohio, creating a greater sense of urgency to perform at the highest level in the five remaining events.
Wiederhold took an early lead in the points with wins in Wilmington, Ohio at the Spring Nationals and a win in Somerset, Kentucky. The three remaining events found the Clarksville, Ohio native gathering a pair of second place points finishes and one fifth place points finish to clinch the Championship. A scant six points behind Wiederhold in the final standings was Matt Cosler on the All In John Deere from Wilmington, Ohio.
Congratulations Mark on your 2019 Ag Protect 1 Midwest Region Light Pro Stock Championship!
