Simon's 2022 Championship Run Loaded with Success
Charlestown, IN (November 9, 2022) – Over the next few days we will take time to reflect on the 2022 pulling season of the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League in preparation for a night of celebration at the Champions Banquet, held at the Hyatt Regency in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, November 19th.
We start with our Champions Tour competitors, specifically Pro Stock Tractor Champion Brandon Simon and the Loud and Heavy John Deere.
Simon's title run was a blistering ride atop the class that kicked off with five straight wins on the Loud and Heavy machine from Farley, Iowa. That PPL record for consecutive wins was snapped by another pair of Simon's machines, the Loud and Loaded (the second place points machine for 2022) and the Loud and Heavy X John Deeres, giving Simon seven straight wins on the season. Consistency beyond the winning streak capped off the championship, as Simon and Loud and Heavy finished fifth or better at every session of competition that it was entered. While Simon never trailed in the points race, The third place (Tinker Toy Deere) and fourth place (River Rat Deere) machines out of the Masterson Farms stable gave tremendous chase in the closing weeks of the season despite missing the first four hooks of the season.
