Wood Cruises to Third MAC Trailer Hot Rod Semis Championship
Charlestown, IN (November 10, 2022) – Over the next few days we will take time to reflect on the 2022 points champions of the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League in preparation for a night of celebration at the Champions Banquet, held at the Hyatt Regency in Louisville, Kentucky on Saturday, November 19th.
The MAC Trailer Hot Rod Semis Champion, Chris Wood and the Class Act Peterbilt, is no stranger to this spot; this title is Wood's third, having won class titles in 2019 and 2021.
Wood's title run began with a win at the World Series of Pulling at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio was bolstered by a string of podium finishes where the Shreve, Ohio-based team finished no worse than third place for the balance of the season. Close behind Wood in the points race was the Playin' with Fire Kenworth piloted by Ryan DeBroux from New Franken, Wisconsin, a past points champion also. Mark Rook and the Hillbilly Deluxe Peterbilt from Jeromesville, Ohio would finish third in points on the season.
