Hart's Diesel Silver Series, Ag Protect 1 Midwest Region Classes Final 2023 Battle at Lanesville Heritage Festival
Sellersburg, IN (September 7th, 2023) – The Lanesville Heritage Festival in Lanesville, Indiana is a massive celebration of rural culture; a gathering of machines and practitioners of the skilled trades that fed and built our nation. With those machine displays and demonstrations comes three nights of tractor pulling competition this weekend. The pulling action is highlighted by stars from the Hart's Diesel Silver Series and Ag Protect 1 Midwest Region in their final battle of the 2023 season in two of those sessions.
The PPL action kicks off Friday, September 8th with Advanced Yield Light Pro Stock Tractors from the Hart's Diesel Silver Series joined by Wagler Competition Products Limited Pro Stock Diesel Trucks, Hot Farm Tractors, and Pro Stock Four Wheel Drive Trucks from the Ag Protect 1 Midwest Region. The same group of classes return for a second session on Saturday, September 9th.
Each division has intense points battle implications to be decided on the weekend. The Light Pro Stock class is led by Matt Smith on the "Fast Forward" Ford with Jim Meadows and the "Too Relentless" CaseIH in striking distance just 14 points out of first place. Third place is held by Mark Smith and his 8700 Ford. The Saturday session is also the final leg of the Advanced Yield Light Pro Shootout.
The Limited Pro Stock Diesel Truck class has a cadre of trucks who could emerge from the weekend as 2023 points champion. Jordan Jackson and the "Billet Steel and Sex Appeal" Dodge hold a narrow two-point lead over Adam White and the "Gambler" Ford. The third, fourth, and fifth place competitors entering Lanesville - Tim Tuttle ("Common Cents" Dodge), Paul Ritchardson ("Fancy Hooker" Chevrolet), and Matt Loucks ("Night Howler" GMC) also have a significant opportunity to advance higher in the final points tally.
In the Pro Stock 4x4 Truck class Brad Chamberlain and the "Barely Gettin' By" Chevy holds a tenuous lead on the "Joint Custody" Chevrolet of Nick Scott with Devin Wright ("Sprout" Chevrolet) and Jim Corey ("Xtremely Insane" Chevrolet) in statistical striking distance of the top spot with the two sessions at Lanesville left.
A familiar duo at the top of the Hot Farm class - Austin and Michael Peters - hold the points lead with the "Hoosier Hooker" IH. Jordan Harris and the "Magnumfied" CaseIH are just two points back in second and Mike Robbins and the "Fire in the Hole" IH are five points out of first place, providing yet another intense points battle to be settled this weekend.
Start time for the Friday session is 7pm EDT and Saturday’s session starts at 6pm EDT. Plan to come early to take in all of the sights and sounds of Lanesville before the pulling action begins!
