Jones Dominates in 2023 ARP Lightweight Super Stock Championship Run
Sellersburg, IN (October 30th, 2023) – The high-flying ARP Lightweight Super Stock Tractor Division is chocked full of great competitors, but one stood head and shoulders above the rest in 2023 as part of the Pro Pulling League Champions Tour. Bobby Jones and his "Field Sobriety" CaseIH from Pleasant Hill, Illinois produced a masterful, near-perfect championship run that garnered him his first points championship in his sixth season of Champions Tour competition.
Jones rattled off four straight wins to begin the season, with a second-place finish coming at America's Pull in Henry, Illinois. After another second-place finish at the event following America's Pull, the Midwest Summer Nationals in Freeport, Illinois, Jones would close out the season with wins in Goshen, Indiana and Hillsboro, Wisconsin, handily clinching the points title. The duo of CaseIH rides from Bradyville, Tennessee, the "Over the Edge" and "On the Edge" machines of Martin Daniel and Daniel Northcutt, would finish second and third in the final points tally respectively.
Jones' fantastic championship campaign will be highlighted at the Pro Pulling League Champions Tour Banquet on Saturday, November 18th.
