Champion Seed Western Series Points Champions Spotlighted in Anticipation of Awards Ceremony this Weekend - Part One
Sellersburg, IN (Drcember 7th, 2023) – Leading into the Champion Seed Western Series Banquet this weekend at the Isle Capri Casino Hotel in Boonville, Missouri on Saturday, December 9th we spotlight our points champions. We'll focus first on the winners in Lightweight Super Stock Tractor, Super Modified Two Wheel Drive Truck, Mini Rod, and Light Limited Super Stock Tractor.
-The champion in the Lightweight Super Stock Tractor class for 2023 was the "Big Temptation" Case campaigned by Bryan and Dale Haug from Centralia, Kansas. The duo scored two wins on the season to highlight their championship run, and were followed closely in second by their trailer-mate "Little Temptation" Case driven by Elmer Haug. Third in points went to the "Monkey Mayhem-Uncaged" CaseIH piloted by Todd Maedge from Marine, Illinois.
The Super Modified Two Wheel Drive Truck class was led by the "Cornfield Cruiser-Black Out" T-Bucket of Mitchell Phipps from Kane, Illinois, on the strength of two wins and five second-place points finishes on the season. Three wins on the season propelled Paul Sprock and the "Sprock Farms" Dodge machine from Laddonia, Missouri into the second place spot, while Chad Musil and the "Straight Forward" Ford captured third based on a season full of top five finishes.
The Limited Mini Rod division was a tight four-way race where Dominic Pecka and the "One More Bad Habit" machine from Union, Missouri came out on top while Zach Jasper and his "Thunderstruck" machine from Washington, Missouri finished just four points behind Pecka in second. Third place was a tie and that pair was only two points off the pace of Jasper, featuring the "Thunderstruck 2.0" of Donnie Jasper from Washington, Missouri and the "Turner Loose" ride of TJ and Terry Turner from Troy, Missouri.
Three wins were the key to the Light Limited Super Stock Championship that Andy Culwell accomplished in 2023, atop the "Desperotto" New Holland from Meta, Missouri. Hayden Otto and the "Sharon's Nightmare" New Holland also from Meta, Missouri nabbed the second place points position for the 2023 season while Wyatt Robinson and the "Shake and Bake" IH from Lucerne, Missouri landed in the third spot.
