2024 Champions Tour Banquet Offers a Night of Celebration and Honors
Sellersburg, IN (November 19th, 2024) – Pullers, Promoters, Sponsors, and PPL personnel celebrated the 2024 pulling season at the Pro Pulling League Champions Tour Banquet, held on Saturday, November 16th at the Hyatt Regency in Louisville, Kentucky.
The event cast the spotlight on points champions from the Champions Tour, Hart's Diesel Silver Series, and AP1 Insurance Midwest Region. Additionally, awards were bestowed upon acclaimed individuals and entities.
The 2024 Melba King Scholarship Award winners, presented by CM Pulling Tires, included Carter Jones Bradshaw, Robert Griffin, and Erica Schwenk.
Pull of the Year accolades were given to the Hillsboro Charity Pull in Hillsboro, Wisconsin.
The John Mumma Ambassador Award presented by Sassy Engines was given to pulling announcer and historian Dan Mayer.
Veteran puller and supporter of pulling Bret Berg was named the 2024 Puller of the Year.
Heralded for his legendary competitive accomplishments as a puller on the track, and off the track as a premier engine builder, Terry Blackbourn received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
